WHO WE ARE

We are a legally established non-profit organization and a SAT-authorized charitable organization to receive donations.
We were born from an urgent need: there are far too many dogs living in abandonment, and very few people with the resources and support needed to help them.
We don’t have a shelter, but we do have a clear mission:
Educate, Fundraise, and Collaborate so that animal welfare becomes a shared responsibility.

Mission

At Fundación Tono, we work to change the way people see and treat animals.
We do this through three pillars: educating to prevent abandonment, fundraising to support rescuers, colaborar and collaborating with people, brands, and institutions that want to make a difference.

Vision

To create a world where all dogs are treated with compassion, respect, and love; where no dog suffers abandonment, abuse, or neglect; and where every dog has the opportunity to live a happy and healthy life with a loving family.

WHAT WE DO

At Fundación Tono, we focus our efforts on three main pillars:

E for Educate

We believe that the root of animal abandonment and abuse lies in misinformation.
That’s why we create accessible, engaging, and useful content to transform knowledge and culture from within.

F for Fundraise

Not everyone can rescue, but everyone can help. We raise funds to support rescuers, specific cases, and organizations that are already working on the ground.

C for Collaborate

We know this can’t be done alone. We collaborate with brands, universities, media outlets, and individuals who want to contribute from their own space.

HOW CAN YOU HELP?

DONATE

Every donation you make to Fundación Tono becomes food, medical treatments, spay/neuter procedures, and direct support for rescuers who save dogs from the streets.

ADOPT

Adopting saves two lives: the animal who becomes part of your family and the next one who takes their place to receive care and rehabilitation.

BECOME A FOSTER HOME

Foster homes are families who temporarily care for dogs while they recover or until a permanent home is found.

COMMERCIAL PARTNERSHIPS

We partner with local businesses to create donation agreements and/or fundraising events.

VOLUNTEER

We need many helping hands—the more, the better. There are many types of volunteering: for events, supporting rescuers, administrative tasks, and much more.

CORPORATE DONATIONS

We are a SAT-authorized charitable organization, which allows us to issue tax-deductible donation receipts for companies.

ONLINE STORE

Through the sale of products, we raise funds that allow us to continue our support and rescue efforts. Every purchase not only helps improve the lives of animals in need but also supports more people who share our passion for animal care and protection.
